An introduction.
The Boil Advisory is a collection of stories about food and about people who feed, in and around New Orleans, Louisiana. It’s a monthly newsletter, with the first edition loosely scheduled for inboxes in late October. We won’t tell you if there’s an actual boil advisory in effect, but we might give you some ideas of what to throw in the boil or gumbo pot.
This project is community initiative of Paprika Studios, a NOLA-based creative firm specializing in visual storytelling. It’s headed by James Collier, with guidance and input from a lot of friends along the way.
